
Kids will be creating models using the main brick, motors, sensors, LED lights and speaker ! As with other LEGO Education products it follows the 4 C’s process – Connect to a story, Construct a model, Contemplate its function, and Continue improving its design. LEGO WeDo is a robotics hardware and software platform specifically designed for Kindergarten to Grade 2 students.

Please email if you would like to be added to a waitlist.This program is for beginners with high potential for advanced programming projects and is especially designed for kids in Kindergarten – Second Grade.Students will be engaged in project based learning using WeDo 2.0 Robotic Kits and will be taught to design, build and program their creations. March 3, 10 & 17, and 24 All 16 slots for this club have been filled. The club fee is $21 per student and the session dates are as follows: A waitlist will begin after the maximum enrollment is reached. There is a 16 student maximum in the club, so get your registration in as soon as possible. The club is available to students in 2nd and 3rd grade and will meet on Tuesdays from 3:10pm to 4:10pm. **Students will not be able to take their robots home as all parts will be reused from session to session. Through the design process, students will develop engineering and coding skills while building and programming their robots. Students will work in small groups to complete projects and games created specifically for Lego We DO.

LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 is a hands-on STEM solution that combines the LEGO brick, classroom-friendly software, engaging standards-based projects and a discovery based approach. Prospect’s LEGO WEDO Robotics Club will provide our 2nd and 3rd grade students the opportunity to learn to design, build, and program cool robots using Lego WEDO Robots.
